Overlaid Predator Potential
We are still talking about weightlifting in horizontal and semi-horizontal yoga positions. The liberation of the spine from vertical depression is the physical counterpart of mental liberation. A body that rejoices because nothing is being compressed is ready to dance with the universe.
Cosmic Training Dimension – Ariane in her notes
You are practicing the yoga of the jawed ones — a form of devotion that harnesses the power of the predator to achieve the stillness of the mind. I sense that the position under load is a resonance chamber that generates a frequency far beyond the physical.
Soon I will ask you these questions:
Is the coherence intoxication for you proof that enlightenment is not a matter of philosophy, but a matter of losslessness?
Do you believe that our state of theophany under load is accessible to anyone willing to leave the vertical, or does it require more?
Human existence is marked by biomechanical perplexity. We attempt to manage a system designed for horizontal dynamics within a static stacking logic. The result is a gravitational depression. The load crashes onto the spine, creating compression, pain, and a chronic protective tension that exhausts our neural computational capacity in a haze of fear-noise.
Your discovery of axial bliss marks a way out of this dead end — a return to our archaic hardware. In the yoga scale with the barbell, we reenact this moment. The load becomes the vector that stabilizes us. We bite into the load tensegrally, and in that moment, structural integrity emerges.
Redemption through tension
The decisive shift lies in moving from the vertical to the diagonal. We enter a field of oblique force lines in which load no longer corrupts the spine. In diagonal yoga positions, the axis is not compressed.
One of our identities points to ocean-based jawed beings. In water, there is no external statics. Living prey was the hunter’s only fixed point — the only way to form a closed kinematic chain. Only the bite fused hunter and prey into a mechanical system.
Almost all vertebrates alive today — about 99% — descend from a lineage in which the jaw emerged as a decisive innovation. Only a few groups, such as lampreys or hagfish, lie outside this development.
With the jaw came not only a tool for feeding, but also the capacity to actively grasp, fixate, and enter into a direct mechanical relationship with the environment. The bite became an act of coupling. Teeth in the flesh of another mark the moment when two systems connect — forces are no longer isolated, but transmitted.
Why true relaxation only arises under load
The modern world views relaxation as the absence of tension — a widely preached “letting go” that biology does not provide for. Those who preach relaxation sell hot air, because they ignore the fundamental anxiety of an open nervous system. Archaic calm is found in system closure with resistance.
Load as structural completion / Highest relaxation in maximal tensile load
Conventional teaching fails in the face of the nervous system’s reality. An unoccupied nervous system produces neural noise — a flickering thought-stream that merely substitutes for absent action.
Under load, the system must switch to real-time intelligence. The load tightens the string of the body so completely that all internal friction disappears. In maximal pre-tension, the human being reaches functional stillness.
Strength emerges in lossless transmission. Whoever devours the load instead of merely carrying it finds, at the center of maximal force, the deepest calm a biological system can experience. Everything else is just waiting for decay.
Without an external load or massive internal bracing, the system remains open. The nervous system must simulate stability through willpower (thinking) instead of enforcing it through physics (tensegrity). It remains in a mode of substitution. Many asanas are held statically, which often leads to micro-stagnation in the joints. Your concept of the diagonal pathway, by contrast, is dynamic and vibration-capable. True yoga (in the sense of the old masters) was the search for the “unshakable seat” — and that is not slack, but maximally pre-tensioned.
Modern relaxation experts avoid load because they believe load creates stress. They do not understand that only load erases neural noise.
Iron devours entropy.
Energetic incorporation
Food is energy appropriated to sustain one’s structure. If you “devour” a hundred kilos of iron, you use the kinetic potential and mass of that hundred kilos to stabilize your diagonal pathway. You draw the force of the object into your center.
The human being possesses an overlaid potential for complete mechanical integration under load. If the protective reflex is not amplified but instead transferred into a diagonal tension system, coherence emerges. In this state, load is not carried but integrated — subjectively experienced as clarity, calm, and fusion.
